| Niue is a beautiful island national in the South Pacific where the residents
are far outnumbered by their compatriots who have migrated to New Zealand.
Home to fewer than 2,000 islanders, the selfgoverning coral atoll is trying
to encourage some of the 20,000 overseas Niueans many of them New
Zealandborn to return. Niue is one of the worlds largest coral island‘s commonly referred to the Rocky of Polynesia; Niue is located in a triangle between Tonga, Samoa, and the Cook Islands. Its warm waters play host to the yearly migration of humpback whales. |
