Norfolk Island is an Australian territory in the South Pacific Ocean. Once a penal colony for the British colony of New South Wales, Norfolk Island was later settled by former inhabitants of the Pitcairn Islands. Today Norfolk Island has a vibrant culture and history with a kaleidoscope of colourful coral reefs and some of the tallest tree ferns on the planet.
